  14. Does anyone have a voice mail modem setup on a computer where they also
  15. use the power management features of that computer?

  17. I've been trying, but I can't get the computer to answer reliably on the
  18. 4th or 5th ring. The reason is fairly obvious, the system has to power up
  19. before it can tell how many rings to answer on. By the time it does this
  20. and begins counting, 3 or 4 rings have already occured. Has anyone figured
  21. out a way around this (somehow loading the needed data into ram or something
  22. like that)? I would like to keep at least some of the power management
  23. features on (I've already turned off the hard drive power management though
  24. with little or no effect).

  26. FYI: I have a Tyan Titan III motherboard and a US Robotics Sportster
  27. 28.8 voice/fax/data modem.
